The Facts:
I am a Family Communication and Behavior Coach in the Denver metro area with a degree in family and personal communication. After spending ten years working in the Denver Public School system as a special education coordinator, teacher, advocate, and paraprofessional, I left the teaching profession to concentrate on family communication and behavior.
Following my work in the education sector, I have collaborated with families to aid children as a nanny, tutor, and private coach. I offer easy-to-execute, fun ideas that help families manage stress, stay organized, and communicate productively.
Let’s work together to help your child succeed at home, school and in life!
The Fun:
I am a 31 year old dog mother and native of Denver, CO. Jewelry making is my therapy as well as my bi-weekly girls Glee night. I married my favorite person in 2009 on top of a mountain in Breckenridge, CO. I loved school although academics were never my strong suit. Travel, wine, and my husband’s vodka sauce are things I cannot live without. Leaf green is my favorite color.

Hi Julie- So great hearing from you! I need to figure out how to do this blog thing and make it part of my daily life. It will be a beneficial way to connect with my friends and clients in a non-aggressive and informative way. Any tips or tricks you can pass along would be greatly appreciated. I hope you are well, we just got a flyer from your brother the other day and it made me think of you.
XOXO,
Katy
Katy,
Best of luck in your new business. I will send any one I might know your way!!
Laura Altman
Hi Laura,
Thanks! I hope you had a great summer and are ready to get back in the swing of things at JFK. I know that there are a lot of families that could use some extra help in many areas, but finding them is the hard part. Thanks for the support!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog! I’m glad I could find yours, as you have a lot of good info on here. I love your beliefs about kids…I should print that out and reference it over the next eighteen years. It seems like it would be very helpful. : )
